The person treating you
The online doctor can live elsewhere; the California licence is what matters for your visit here.
Ask for a full name and licence number, then match them to the state record.
Your agreement to the visit
Telehealth lets you receive care using a screen, by telephone or through a form online.
Before care begins, the person assessing or treating you must explain how the remote visit works.
They must get your agreement, spoken or written, and record it.
Agreeing to a remote visit leaves the option of in-person care open.
The pharmacy sending medicine
A pharmacy outside California needs a California nonresident pharmacy licence to ship prescription medicine into the state.
Nonresident means the pharmacy is outside California.
Since July 1, 2026, the pharmacist in charge must hold a California licence too.
Ask which pharmacy will send the medicine, even when the visit happens through a different service.
Is peptide care real?
The name “peptide” leaves a product’s safety and legal status unanswered.
On September 26, 2026, peptide care included medicines with approval, products prepared to order and products without approval.
So the useful question is: which exact medicine is being offered, and for what reason?
